It seems so long ago, but here are some cards I made for Easter! I love that time of year, filled with chocolate, hot cross buns, and of course, easter egg hunts!

I inked the Vanilla card with Mowed Lawn and Peeled Paint Distress inks to give it that mottled look. This was achieved using an ink blending tool and sponge and rubbing over the card in circular motions until the whole card is covered. (Hint: watch your fingers, as you can leave fingerprints on your card where you hold it steady. You can use a pair of tweezers to hold it steady instead).

The butterfly was stamped using Mowed Lawn, coloured in the middle with yellow pencil and outlined with Faded Jeans using a blending tool and sponge.

The images were coloured with watercolour pencils and a blender pen.
