Welcome! I say, I am much happier that the weather has cooled down this week in Adelaide.

Here’s a card I have been working on:


The Vanilla base card is inked around the edges with Walnut Stain, as is the background paper and flowers. The flowers are punched out of the same background paper with the Jumbo Flower punch, as is the bird’s wing. The bird, branch, and the background flowers are punched from chocolate SB (scrapbooking) paper. The image is matted onto the same chocolate SB paper, and distressed around the edges. The flowers are layered (chocolate for the base layers, and one on top using the background paper), slightly off centre from the others to create a more fuller look. These are attached together using brads.

As you can see the flowers and the bird (including the wing) are slightly raised (as they were attached with mounting tape).
